EMARIS (Esoscheletro Modulare Arti Inferiori e Superiori)

DUAL USE PROJECT IN COLLABORATION WITH THE DEFENSE SECRETARIAT.

OBJECT: development of technological demonstrators related to:

  • New solutions for increasing material transport capacity for light infantry.
  • Individual protection system against the effects of spinal compression caused by the shouldered transport of individual and team equipment.

Lower exoskeleton (MechLegs+MechBelt)

Improvement of TBE2 (developed within the AIPS+BE program) in terms of efficiency in transferring the transported weights to the ground bypassing the user’s body, in terms of weight, in terms of structural strength, ergonomics, fit and adjustments, cost of production, simplicity of donning and use, buoyancy, fire resistance, anti-shock protection, interoperability with Defense equipment and vehicles.

Upper Exoskeleton (Mech-Spine, MechPorter)

Module which, in connection with the lower exoskeleton, allows the weight of the military bulletproof vest and backpacks of various volumes to be trasferred to the ground.

Upper Exoskeleton (Mech-Spine, MechArms)

Module which in connection with the lower exoskeleton allows the support of the arms in the swing of equipment, heavy tools and team weapons.

STRUCTURE

Nylon PA12, steel, titanium, aluminum. Can be made with additive manufacturing (SLS) or injection.
